Linen Linen

Terms of Service

Effective August 5, 2026 · Brilliance Digital

These terms are the agreement between you and Brilliance Digital for Linen: the desktop and mobile mail client and the subscription services behind it. Using the service means you accept them.

The service

Linen is a mail client. Your mailbox stays with your mail provider and on your devices; our services provide accounts, subscriptions, AI credits, settings sync, and support. Your use of a connected mailbox remains governed by that provider's own terms.

Your account

Keep your credentials and your recovery phrase safe. The recovery phrase encrypts your vault on your device; we cannot reset or recover it, and losing it only means reconnecting your mailboxes. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Billing

Subscriptions bill monthly through Stripe at the price shown when you subscribed. Launch pricing is honored for as long as you stay subscribed. Cancel anytime from the billing portal; your plan runs to the end of the paid period and does not renew. Where the law requires refunds, we follow the law.

AI credits

Paid plans include a monthly allowance of AI credits that refreshes each billing cycle. Credits meter usage of AI actions you explicitly invoke; they have no cash value and cannot be transferred. If you bring your own API key, those requests bill with your provider instead.

Acceptable use

Your content

Your mail is yours. We claim no rights over it; we never even hold it. The Linen software, brand, and site remain ours.

Warranty and liability

The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We can suspend or end accounts that break these terms, with notice where practical. Sections that should survive termination (payment obligations, liability limits) survive.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there.

Changes

If we change these terms materially, we will email account holders before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
